Privacy Policy
My event (the "Service") values your privacy. This policy explains how information is handled on the Service (https://event.bokuapp.com/).

2. Information we collect and store
To coordinate events, the Service stores the following on our servers (Cloudflare D1):
- Event name, note, candidate dates, and response deadline
- Participants' display names (nicknames etc.) and their answers (○ / △ / ×) for each candidate date
- An admin token for organizer actions (stored only as a hashed value, never in plain text)
- A browser token used to update responses from the same device
There is no account registration or login. We do not ask for your real name, email address, or phone number.
3. Visibility of results
- Results (counts and names) become visible to participants once the organizer decides the dates, or after the response deadline.
- If the organizer decides the dates, results are shown even before the deadline, and further responses and edits are no longer possible.
- Event page URLs (/e/…) are meant to be shared, but are excluded from search engine indexing.
4. Data deletion
- After the organizer decides the dates and the last decided date has passed, the event's data is deleted from our servers.
- Once deleted, the event can no longer be viewed even with its URL.
5. Browser storage (localStorage)
For convenience, the following may be stored in your device's browser:
- The admin token for organizers (to edit and decide events you created)
- The browser token for respondents (to update your responses)
- A history of events created on this device (title, deadline, candidate date range, etc.)
- Your language preference
These stay only on your device and are not shared across servers. They are removed when you clear your browser data.
6. Access logs and analytics
When you access the Service, our hosting provider (Cloudflare etc.) may automatically record data such as IP address, browser information, referrer, and access time. This is used for stable operation, security, and troubleshooting.
We may also use Cloudflare Web Analytics (cookieless) to understand page usage. It is not used to identify individuals or serve ads. Event content and answers are never sent to analytics.
7. Cookies
The operator does not set cookies to individually identify users. However, our hosting provider may use cookies.
8. Sharing with third parties
Except as required by law, the operator does not sell or provide collected information to third parties without your consent. Processing is delegated to hosting and infrastructure providers only to the extent necessary to provide the Service.

For external sites linked from the Service, please review each site's own privacy policy.
10. Use by children
The Service is intended for general audiences. Users under 16 should use it with the consent of a parent or guardian.
11. Changes to this policy
The operator may update this policy as needed. Changes take effect when posted on this page.
